The rules of the fire. Please read before joining.
By creating an account or using Catch of a Lifetime® (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including waitlist members, beta participants, and subscribers.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you are 18 or older. Accounts belonging to minors will be terminated immediately upon discovery.
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You may not create an account on behalf of another person or impersonate anyone else.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@catchofalifetime.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
You may not share your account or allow others to access it on your behalf.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:
You retain ownership of the content you post (photos, messages, profile information). By posting content, you grant Catch of a Lifetime a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, distribute, and use that content solely to operate and improve the Service.
You represent that you own or have the right to post any content you share, and that your content does not violate these Terms or any applicable law.
We may remove content that violates these Terms at our discretion. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination.
You assume all risks associated with outdoor activities you participate in as a result of connections made on this platform. Always exercise appropriate caution, meet in public places first, let someone know your plans, and follow all applicable safety guidelines for your activity.
Paid subscription plans are billed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis according to the plan you select. You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods except where required by law.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
The Service is currently in private beta. Features may change, be added, or be removed at any time. Beta access may be revoked at our discretion. We make no guarantees about uptime, data retention, or feature availability during the beta period.
Catch of a Lifetime®, its logo, and all platform features are our intellectual property. You may not reproduce, copy, or use our brand assets without written permission. The Fraunces typeface and DM Sans typeface are used under the SIL Open Font License.
We may suspend or terminate your account for any violation of these Terms, or for any conduct we determine is harmful to the community or the Service. You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon termination, your content and profile data will be removed as described in our Privacy Policy.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Catch of a Lifetime and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We make no warranties about the accuracy of user-generated content.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis, not as part of a class action.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered users at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
